Cancel the requests for measurements. I found another B and used a sheet of
paper as a template to find the holes.
thanks to the bondo, I was able to punch them out with a screwdriver without
doing too much damage to the surrounding paint.
Well, all but one. It seems the DPO got tired of trying to remove the
little devils, and just sawed off the top of one, leaving the nut and bolt
in the body, sanded flush with the body and painted over.
I managed to get the nut off underneath, but some good tugging with my
vise-grips (good thing I have small hands) only managed to break off the
bolt.
But, now that I have the template, I know right where the hole is supposed
to be, so I can drill it out from above without too much fuss.

On the other car I looked at, it is indeed a snap. There is nothing on my
new top (from Prestige - looks very well made, though I haven't actually
tested fit yet, obviously) that would snap onto it, though, so I am
considering leaving it filled. It belongs to the tonneau, maybe?
Soon to be no longer topless . . .
