MG badge, but...

I see lots of photos of the MG Maestro and Montego racing in England
(often quite spirited, paint scratching stuff, too) but are there
many/any of these models outside of Britain?  I don't think I have ever
seen one in Australia (and we even have the MGF in all it's forms and
glories).
