I'd like to know that, too. My kit came with odd brand Brazilian shocks
(this was ten years ago or so) so I've never really known what to replace
them with, when the time came (which might be now, now that I think of it).
The only clue is that the box listed "VW Type 3" as the application (I
believe that is the fastback/squareback).

Oh, I just recalled that I once found a listing for this on Doug Jackson's
British Automotive web pages <www.mgbmga.com>. My printout shows Koni p/n
80-1244, Spax p/n G41AV-170, and Monroe Sensatrac p/n ST-5877. He recommends
you check your ride height and compare it to the table of shock extended &
compressed lengths on his site before purchasing, which makes sense to me.
This info is in his Technical Information section, #MGB-13.
