Transmission mount holes 77B

Hi folks,

       I'm about ready to try reinstalling my newly rebuilt engine.  I see that
the are two sets of holes in the crossmember where the transmission mounts
attach.  One set is farther forward than the other.  That gives me a 50% chance
of choosing the right set and a 90% chance of choosing the wrong set.  Can
anybody give me a hint as to which set I should use for my initial try?  TIA.
