recommends single weight mineral based oils for break in. Consensus
over the years in my readings is that an engine is fully broken in in
3000 miles, and the first 500 are the most critical. Avoid extended
constant speed driving or speeds over 65 mph for the first 500 miles is
also good advise. Best break in driving is the regular daily commute as
long as it is fairly short and mostly stop and go driving.
