I have used both in a roadster, Fiero's in a GT & like them very much.
Both are a good fit, the Miata being a bit better.
Fiero seats are easier to fit if you remove the tracks from the seats &
install the drivers tracks on the passenger seat, passenger tracks on
the driver's seat. The seat rake adjustment on the Fiero seats is quite
large, & the cover & spring must be removed to clear the frame rail. The
alternative is to switch the complete seat to the opposite side, but
this gives the seats an inboard tilt.
Miata seats are slightly more comfortable on a long drive, the Fiero
seats give better lateral support.
