DOS = Disk Operating System
... but came into common misuse as an abreviation for MS-DOS (the
festering sore over which the scab of MS Windows developed when someone

Saying DOS is like saying PC (when you really probably mean Intel chip
based personal computer running one of the many MS Windows variations
i.e NT,95/98, Me, 2000), rather than just a Personal Computer which
could be running ANY D/OS.

... because it can run MS Windows (and, if you have a G4, probably
faster than most Intel-based systems).
Now, I guess there are many ways I can liken this to MG-based kit cars
and/or copies to retain the LBC content... but it is mid-80F outside and
I am going for a drive (which is much more fun than getting involved in
OS-wars:-)
