Welcome to the new millenium.
My last official action of the last millenium was to become temporary
foster parent to the snow orphan MGA. After listing the ad and pictures on
line, a couple of local club members expressed enough interest in some of
the parts to make it worth while to make a low-ball offer. Unfortunately
it was accepted. So on new year's eve a few of us hauled it all away in a
small trailer and a couple of mini vans. Some of the new parts have
already found a new home, and it's a foregone conclusion that the body will
be scrapped.
The frame is in pretty good condition, already reconditioned where
necessary except for needing at least one of the battery trays repaired,
perfectly straight from end to end and crudely painted with no rust, but if
it doesn't find a new home within a week or so it too will be scrapped for
lack of storage space. Otherwise a few new parts and a lot of used parts
will be appearing on eBay soon. There is just about one of everything in
used MGA parts, so if anyone on the list needs anything you should holler
now, and maybe get it cheap before it hits the auction.
Final notice,
