| I'm turning to the lists vast knowledge and experience here.  This
weekend I replaced my stock 25D distributor /w Petronix ignition module
with a 45D with points.  Now my tach has been very erratic, swinging
wildly.  I'v check all connections to make sure I didn't accidentally
knock something loose.  Everything seems okay.  A friend says it has to
be the new distributor.  I'm thinking it is just coincidence and I
suspect the tach.  Is there any trouble shooting I can do to figure out
where the problem lies?  The MG is a 67 and the 45D is a new unit from
Aldon performance.
