Here In Connecticut, I am guessing we got between 12"-14" of snow. It snowed
again a little bit tonight, but it looked to be about a 1/4" at most. I
confess, I am surprised we got this much living so close the the beach, and
there was a bit of flooding.
Didn't bother venturing out of the house today, but if need be, I have my
Range Rover, which I am confident will get me out of nearly anything.
Forgive my laziness...I meant to pull my Midget out of the garage last night
to let her run, and I never got around to it. Even worse, I had neglected to
put the top up when it was still 50+ degrees. I raised the top, but by then
it was too cold for me to latch it closed. Ugh!
While I'm writing, I may as well mention a peculiar mix of British cars I
encountered Friday. During my lunch break, I stopped to gas up my Range
Rover, and a white Rolls Royce Silver Shadow pulled up behind me. On my way
back to work, I spied a red MGA at another gas station (this was all in
Darien, CT). Once back home in Milford, I stopped at the bank, and a primrose
yellow MGB pulled into the lot. I took the time to check her out, and she
seemed to be in fine shape. Just found it interesting to see more MG's on the
road the day before a blizzard in one day than I do during the entire summer!
