Befitting the upcoming Vetern's Day celebrations.. As a WWII buff, I just finished a terrific book, a first person account of a naval ensign before and after the D-Day landings. His moving letters and illustrations that his wife kept for over 50 years make up this great window into the invasion on the Normandy beaches. Entitled "My War" by Tracy Sugarman, an apropros read at this time and a forward by Steve Ambrose. Cheers, Dave Houser |
