Tom,

I think it's quite obvious, the part of the master cylinder which drives the
rear brakes is leaking internally (damaged seal), so not providing any
pressure to the rear brake system.
No fluid is pushed into this part of the pipes, although the front brake
hydraulic system works.
I had exactly the same problem with my GT when I bought it.
I've replaced the MC. Did not dare to have it reworked after such a long
time with corrosive fluid (propably not replaced timely so containing
water).

      At this point, we decided to try the front brakes. They bled. We then
moved to the flexible
hose at the rear of the car that supplies the rear brakes. Loosened the
fitting in front of 
the flexible hose. No pressure, no fluid. Moved further forward to the
coupling.... nothing.
Skipped the pressure failure switch and moved to the rear part of the master
cylinder....nothing.
What's going on here???
