I just got word from the machine shop that I have to buy new pistons. OUCH!!
Well that opens a new can of worms. The Moss catalog lists 9:1 CR pistons
for models up to 1976 and 7.5:1 CR for 77 and later. Now my guess is that I
could use the 9:1 in the 1500 engine block. So am I gaining any great
advantage to doing so? My gut feeling is yes and I am leaning towards it.
Any compelling reason not to??
