Since I'm really a non-car-guy masquerading as a car-guy, someone with more
experience give me an opinion on this.
Reading the latest MG Magazine and they have a bit on a four wheel, fully
independant suspension conversion for the B. Bolt in.
http://www.mgcars.org.uk/trevortaylor/
The mag seemed to love the thing, test driving taylor's B with 240hp (Though
they didnt specifically say it was a V8 conversion, how the heck would you
get a B series to 240???).
Taylor was quoted as saying that the front end was 70% of the improvement,
and the rear was 30%.
If I do my math right about the exchange rate...
The front wishbones, coilovers and polyurethane bushings are just over
$1000. How is this different than just going to shocks I order out of Moss?
Please help clue me in.
As for the back end, a conversion to their system is over $2100. It's
obvious to see the differences in this one, but I'm wondering of it's value.
$2100 for what amounts to only 30% of the overall improvement.
And this doesnt include any VAT or shipping.
Has anyone got any experience with this beast?
