I always thought that the nose piece, complete with the gears, of the banjo type rear end in the MGA and early MGB's is sometimes refered to as a "pumpkin", but the TD...........??? It has no nose piece and is not a "banjo" rear axle, so what is the "pumpkin" on it? Is the "pumpkin" the differential cage or what? Inquiring minds want to know. Blake |
