Just thought I would comment on the paint job problem.
I got Bill Hirsch's aluminium engine paint for my Rover 3.5L which came in
a gastly pale green (rebuilt by UK Ministry of Defence). Stripping the
paint was an awful task. Tried putting Hirsch's paint on with the finest
of brushes (it does not come in spray cans) Result was terrible!! Found a
place nearby (Barrie, Ontario) that puts your own paint into spray cans for
Can$6. I will never ever do anything else now. Did a superb job. So now
I will put POR15 in spray cans. I highly recommend that anyone with a
paint job finds a similar facility and use spray cans. It's far cheaper
than borrowing spray guns etc.
