I just recovered my 69 Beater from the brother-in-law's house after storing
it there since our move from PA to NY in May. Got it running in about 10
minutes after a quick plug and oil change. Problem is, the clutch peddle
seems to be swinging in the breeze - there is no resistance at all. The
reservoir was just about empty (or perhaps completely empty), so some had
leaked out - no big surprise there! Before I go digging around the slave
and disassembling various parts, does anyone have a slam-dunk on what the
problem might be - better yet a remedy? This is the first time I've ever
had this symptom so I'm not sure about how to best diagnose, but I'm
thinking it's either a frozen clutch, a complete lack of fluid or perhaps
the slave just totally gave up the ghost. BTW, the clutch was working fine
prior to the move.

Changing gears - anyone going to MGs on the Rocks (Maryland)??? I'm going
to see if the SO can be persuaded to give the thumbs up on the trip (my
time this summer has been spent in fix-up-the-new-house-hell) as it will be
the only MG club event I'll have attended this season (geeze - and summer
ended today).
