AFAIK the two wires from the Pertronix to the coil replace the old
white/black between coil and distributor, and the two wires connect to the
terminals of the coil. The white has to remain connected to both coil and
one wire from the ignitor and the other wire goes to the other coil terminal
to replace the white/black - which assuming the points and condenser have
been removed is not connected to anything at the distributor anyway. The
instructions don't make sense to me, but what do I know, I don't have one.
