I'm finding myself with a good excuse to upgrade the headlights in
my MGB. I've tried the "sealed beam halogens" and while they are
nearly acceptable, I'd really like better. On the other hand, I don't
want to spend $300 when $60 or $100 would do the trick.
I've seen some pretty impressive headlights on newer cars, what is
out there that works well with the MG, but preferably doesn't break
the bank? I'd also prefer not to have to do too radical of rewiring the
car. It doesn't freeze much around here so I only need to be able to
see with them, not necessarily melt ice.
On a non-lbc subject, after last weekend I *really* want a van,
and will be looking to turn my transportation appliance (92 Saturn)
into a van. If anyone knows of any reliable ones, with enough oomph
to tow (3/4 tonne or better, 300ci or better) coming up for sale in
the beigh arya, please let me know. I prefer ones with windows and
with removable seats so I can carry either people, car parts or my
motorcycle.
