ZS Choke

I'd like to Choke my Zenith Choke.  Cold operation is waaay too rich.
Tried setting to specs, like the 3/32" gap, turning back the heat mass,
etc, but still way too rich.  Is there any easy way to adjust rich idle mix
other than chucking the automatic choke and installing manual?
Warm engine operation is fine.  No, I'm not gonna do SU nor weber.
