replacing clutch hydraulic line

So...the hints from a few of you to remove the clutch slave cylinder
worked. I bought a stubby 15/16 wrench and that helped immensely. Removed
the undercoating around the nut with paint thinner and it was just as a
few said. It came off nice and not neat. 

But ... the end of the metal hydraulic line came off with the rubber hose.
This is a fix of another kind. I found my leak. The line was actually worn
above the rubber hose threads because I could see the wear at the break 
and the enlargement seems to have welded on to the rubber hose fitting. 

Is it difficult for me, a learning sort but getting more frustrated, to
replace the metal line or is this something I should let a pro do?
