Barney,
Congratulations on the "first in class" - I'm glad you were able to show the
crowd what an MG is capable of doing.
p.s. The Celica?, I believe, is actually a Mitsubishi - not sure of the
model.

Subject: Only one MG, but many SCCA autocross pictures
For those so inclined, I have temporarily posted pictures of more than 40
cars from my last Sunday's SCCA autocross adventure. Mine was the only MG
there, but there was a TVR 280i and some other interresting (fast)
machinery, and one bugeye Sprite just visiting. I don't have the list of
driver names, but I can identify most of the cars if anyone should ask.

I missed the index trophy by a little less than a second, but I did get
first in class. This particular date was the third of six events in the
Central Illinois Region Cup Series. So far I am 3 for 3 in this series for
30 points. They will count the best 5 out of 6 events, and 50 points would
be the optimum goal towards winning a free set of racing tires. One step
closer this week and still hoping. I dunno what a tie breaker would be,
but I did get the index trophy at the first Cup event of the season.
