Not odd, it's a smaller tire (same width, smaller diameter). I personally
would think a 175/65 would have a significant lowering effect vs the
original 165R-14 (equivalent to a 165/78). Think -- do you want that look
(and ground clearance)? Your choice. I think most people who go to a 65
series seem to use a 185/65 (a little bigger diameter).
