4.55 was the MG Magnette ratio, also an optional MGA ratio.
4.875 was stock MG TF, 5.125 stock TD. The MGA and MGB gearsets can be
re-machined to fit in a TD or TF axle housing, but I do not believe anyone
has taken the T- gears and modified them to fit in the A or early B banjo
axle.
