Well, Kai, that was very well spoken. I can understand your points. I'm
sure that most of us could counter any single example you gave with one of
the opposite viewpoint, and you could go out and find other examples that
support your viewpoint. So let's not go there!
This is what I enjoy so much about this list (and the Spridgets list). We
can have differing opinions and still remain good friends.
Kai, thanks for responding and reminding us that there is more than one type
of young person out there. I will continue to look for the ones who may be
right to continue fixing and driving MGs and other LBCs. If you should
happen to bump into one of them, give him the benefit of the doubt and don't
just write him off as a future rice burner. I am a salesman, and I know that
selling is a numbers game. The more you try, the more sales you will make.
If we continue to talk to everyone who will listen, SOME of them WILL give
LBC ownership a try. And of those, some will give up, but SOME of them will
get completely, and hopelessly hooked.
