Hi Hans,

   In my view it's better to top up the rack through the damper orifice
than to mess with the clamps and gaiters periodically.  I'm not going to
stretch the gaiters and possibly ruin its sealing capabilities when
there's a way to avoid it.  

  Anyway it's a 12,000 mile or 12 month interval service item.  Er,
unless they leak, in which case they should be renewed.
