Yes, I just bent mine out of brake tubing. It actually doesn't need to be 
"large" diameter, in that the flow can't possibly exceed that of the fuel 
supply line (worst case scenario). Just pick up some tubing and a cheap 
tubing bender at the auto supply store, and use the old one as a 
template. Should be easy -- I didn't have any old ones to go by, just the 
pictures in catalogs and books. BTW, I don't think mine rubs the heat 
shield, so maybe you could bend it so it has more clearance while you're 
at it.
