NAMGAR Meet

Thought I might go to WV this year for the NAMGAR get-together.
I am not yet a member of this org. , so I don't know the rationale for the July 
schedule for the meet which runs from Mon.7/17 into 7/22.   Most events I have 
gone to straddle a weekend or  at least have weekend days as the core activity 
days.   I don't mind travelling on Thursdays and taking Fridays off to make 
these events, but this schedule precludes this type of planning.   Can anyone 
tell me why this event is set up this way?
