Joe, be very cautious when buying a used driveshaft. When I did my OD
conversion I went through about 3 driveshafts before I found one that was
worth the cost of balancing. Check for looseness in the splines, there
should be almost no discernable play either rotationally or longitudinally,
and also check to make sure that the yoke holes aren't ovalled or hogged
out.
