The
location of the leak was on the pushrod end of the unit. The fluid was
leaking out the weep hole (guess that's why they put it there) in the
pushrod
accordion boot. I put in a second master cylinder - after about a week,
same
problem. That pushrod area is not one you touch in the swap out. I've
stuck
strictly to Castrol LMA brake fluid. Is anybody else getting defective

again
and finding out that I have another bad unit. >>

Where'd you get the rebuilts? For best results, get a resleeved MC with a
brass sleeve. These are expensive, but they are the best and they are
guaranteed forever. Cheap rebuild jobs, like the kind you get at Advance
Auto and the like, are just honed to a larger size and they use oversize
seals. Sometimes the pitting is too bad for this proceedure and they don't
really inspect them well enough to see it. That's why they are so cheap.
Contact White Post Restorations, and I know there are some other, but they
don't come to mind.
