Don't think so. The vacuum switch is supposed to be closed when a high vacuum condition exists in the intake manifold. As I recall, it's wired in parallel with the OD selector switch and won't let the OD disengage while the hi vac condition exists. So, when you have OD selected the vac switch shouldn't be able to affect the solenoid. I'd check on it but can't find my Bentley manual and it's not in Haynes. CR |
