Tres droll, mon ami, but I like all sorts of cars. I have owned many TR2,
TR3, TR4, and even a Swallow Doretti. I have also had many MGAs, my first
love, a couple of MGBs, which I found boring, having neither the good looks
of the A, nor the performance of my Twincams, and one MGC (the conveyance of
SWMBO, who quite enjoys it).
I'd have to say that I have found more frustration with the way that Triumph
did many details on their cars, but some were pretty well designed. Anybody
that thinks MG did everything better should talk to me after setting the
timing on their Twincam! That's why I mounted the Twincam engine in my TVR
race car when I was developing it - to reduce the frustration and early onset
of arthritis from attempting to gain access to hidden parts.
I guess in the end I _am_ more of a fan of MGs (in my efforts to reduce the
fleet, I passed my last TR on to a friend last summer).
And then there are the Jensens, but I shall not get started on that.
