Bullwinkle, Lawrie's answer is appropriate as on a cast iron head the clearances do close up with heat. The reverse is true for aluminum heads. The appropriate clearances should come with the new cam timing tag unless it is a stock replacement and you know the part number to verify its grind. zandor |
