URGENT: 3 & 4 cylinder filling up

Seems the two rear cylinders of the 77 are filling up with fuel to the point
it started running out of the charcoal cannister. I got the two carbs off
and my mechanic got called away. Any sage advice I can offer when he
returns? I have both carbs off the car. It is firing as we tested the plugs
and leads.
