MGA pick up

I hope I'm not wearing out a beaten path. Looks like next week I
will be picking up an MGA basket case, with a rolling chassis with
wire wheels and no driveshaft. Have a 4x4 F150 and its about 1500
miles away (Gulf of Mexico to Toronto).

I hear the wire wheels may fall off using a car dolly.

Will the rolling chassis fit in a 5x12 box trailer or do you need
a 6x12?

I think the one way car hauler trailer rental would be a little
too expensive.
