The reason the old heads cracked was a flaw in the design igf I am not
mistaken. When the added the airpump they put in new holes and created hot
spots by the 2nd and 3rd plug. Those may crack over time. I would think a new
cast or an old one would have the possibility of cracking at anytime. It would
just depend on the metal at those points in the head...
The cast iron head costs about as much or more than the AL one.
