Oh, to be sure it may have been altered substantially throughout its life. My
66, 289 Mustang is a 65, six-banger frame from the firewall forward, a fact
that caused considerable trouble registering it in Maryland. I had to prove
an unbroken chain of ownership from new, a project that took 18 months.
Long, long non-LBC story.
But at several points on my Bs I've gone down to metal and found no other
color, unlike the Mustang where a vertible rainbow awaits the sanding
bodyworker.
