Hi, Max.
Just a point, Max and not a flame. Plastics technology *has* moved on as you
say but then again, so has the development of paints. Also, re. the car I
mentioned, I had a Manta GTE which was built (and Painted) in 1983. Its
squashy rear spoiler admittedly wasn't ABS-if anything it was much softer.
But.. the factory paint didn't fall off it :-)
