Just wanted to comment on the SUV thread.

Re: polution, most emissions from cars/trucks come from the factory where it
is built, not out the tailpipe.  You could drive the most fuel inefficient
truck for 100,000 miles and not produce the amount of contaminents from
building a single subcompact.

Further, I would not want any legislation telling me not drive whatever the
hell I felt like.
