Howdy -- I pulled apart brake m/c on my 74.5 RBB this week, and got
delayed in the reassembly process, consequently forgetting which way
the little valves & springs go. These are the valves and springs
between the cylinder and the pipes, i.e. you unscrew the brake pipes
from the m/c, then you unscrew the part of the m/c which the brake
pipes screwed into, and you find the valves and springs. The question
is, which is outermost, the valve or the spring?
Sorry if this is a bit vague, I am not good at describing this stuff.
This is on a "middle" vintage master cylinder, it has a round
canister, with two "pools", one towards the front and one towards the
back.
The good news is that, except for this lapse of memory, it all went
together without a hitch -- it remains to be seen if it will stay
together...
thank you - as always
