Derek,

Nothing to sync. or adjust. It's pretty much an unbolt and bolt on
procedure. Although somewhat of a pain to get at...but not bad. The only
other thing you need to do is disconnect and reconnect the power wire to the
starter. If you whatch what you remove and you reverse the procedure for the
new starter, you'll do just fine.
