Sorry, Ed, but the "he" in my statement referred to the original poster,
not to you. Obviously, "you" were referring to just that. But the logical
sequence of this thread seems to be thoroughly mixed up at this point.
Anyway, are you saying these j-hooks fit the MGB battery box with a group
26 battery? The problem with mine seems to be that the long dimension of
the battery is so tight in the well that you can't fit the hooks into the
pre-existing holes. For this reason I am using a bungie cord.
