Here's a quote from a Reuters story on today's eastern seaboard storm:
State officials in Maryland said four-wheel-drive sport utility vehicles
(SUV) posed a public safety hazard as foolhardy drivers
charged through the wintry weather only to lose control on snow and
slush-covered highways.
``There's a special problem posed by SUV drivers who think they are
invincible. They're causing an inordinate number of
accidents and that's not counting what police in local municipalities
are having to deal with,'' Maryland emergency management
spokesman Quentin Banks said.
