My friends tell me that the hot set-up is to run a 1275 with a ported
head, hs4 carbs , a 270 cam ceramic coated headers, a balance job and
.040 over pistons. I've driven a couple such monsters, complete with
a Nissan 5 speed and a 3.90 rear end. The result of these
modifications in quite pleasant.
