Can anyone butt in?

I am using 28 fr/31 r. This seems to give the proper differential f/r. I 
used to use higher pressures because I liked the "quick turn-in" feel in 
the steering, but found that the center of the tread wore out well before 
the edges. This is with 175R14 Michelins.

YMMV depending on vehicle & spares weight and passenger load. I only 
weigh 160 lbs. and usually drive alone (sigh). <g>

Eric is on the racetrack, I believe, where the higher pressures make 
sense, and tire life is not really an issue.
