Just a couple of added thoughts... Check building codes beforehand, in many areas, garage size (and height) is limited. A buddy has in-floor radiant heat in his garage/shop, and it's wonderful. Heat naturally rises, and it's soooo warm when you're on the creeper under a car. Has a small gas fired boiler that he salvaged from a demolition project. He also has a large wall mounted airconditioner for the summer. Keeps the garage very comfortable during those stifling 90 degree/70% humidity days. |
