Simple! Slacken the nut till it reaches the end of the threads, position a
bottle-jack under the nut, exert a slight upward pressure with the jack,
position a hammer head on top of the arm as close to the end as you can,
then hit down on that hammer with another one. The shock should spring the
tapered pin free.
