I'm new to the list so please forgive any newbie oversights.

I am in the midst of a complete rebuid of my '73 B roadster. I bought the
car from under a tarp six years ago... Long story short - I just got the
car back from a local british car specialist where all of the body work was
done. (a long list of the usuals).

As I am almost fininshed paying off the body work I am turning to the
engine. I have been considering different approaches to gaining some power.
A supercharger is an option. My questions are:

1) Are there any North American manufacturers of SCs for the B? I'm in
Ottawa, Canada so the shipping from Australia would be a kick in the shins
so to speak.

2) I have heard there is excessive wear on the engine when a SC is used.
Where and how bad? Are there preventative measures possible? As the engine
is going to be rebuilt top to bottom all suggestions are welcome and
valuable.

3) I notice the SC at > http://www.hi-flow.com/super_mgb.html is used with
only a single SU carb. Reasons? Trade offs?

Thanks,
Bert Ljungstrom
