I have a question for the techies out there.
When shifting into any gear... the shift forks are suppose to
slide gears around right?
While push testing the Midget..... we'd drop it in each gear
one at a time, and watch for the engine fan to rotate.
( no plugs or manifolds installed)
4th and 3rd each moved the fan when the clutch was dropped.
1st and 2nd do nothing
the shifter feels like it isn't moving anything.
COULD THE BOLT ON THE FORK HOLDING IT TO THE ROD
HAVE COME LOOSE ALLOWING THE ROD TO SLIDE THROUGH
THE FORK RATHER THAN MOVE THE GEARS?
