Quickly, while the wheels from other sources for your MGB is being discussed,
I have a couple of other suggestions:
Option 1. Wire wheels:
15" triumph TR4 wire wheels with lower profile tires. This looks real nice,
allows aggressive tread and profile look, and maintains stock configuration.
Optio 2. 4 lub wheels:
2. There are a plethora of front wheel drive after market wheels that will
fit an MGB. anything with a 4 1/2 X 4 lug pattern will fit. MGBs have an
extended offset towards the body, and thus have a good bit of room inboard
that is not utilized on standard wheel offsets. Front wheel drive wheels
are heavily offset towards the chassis. I have run 205-50s for quite a while
on an MGB with aftermarket front wheel drive wheels. These wheels are
usually more modern looking, but if that is the look you are going for, you
can find exactly what you want at any decent tire and rim store. The only
negative side of this method is that the wheels are flat faced, meaning you
don't see a dish difference between outer rim and hub, (just as you see on
any front wheel drive wheel).
